Wow. It’s been a year since I’ve posted anything on here.
And you might wonder then – where the hell did everything go?
Well… I’ve had to move data between servers, and I haven’t actually bothered much about properly putting everything back into place at the moment. I’m gonna give you the usual excuse – I’m busy. With stacks of assignments piling up just waiting to be completed on time. Having a domain and some bandwidth on the Internet is great, even though I didn’t use it much.
So, that’s what university students do all the time right? Do assignments, and post the odd blog post now and then? Nothing out of the ordinary.
However I’m finally signalling my intention to reinitiate work on a replacement for NZ Connection’s Plan Finder project in some of my free time. Yes, I said I wouldn’t do it, and it’s only during small snippets of free time, but I really cannot stand it any longer, especially with the only decent one out there being Consumer’s TelMe which while provides great independent comparison, is horrendous in its layout.
When will it be “ready”? I don’t know. But it’ll be in rough form by the end of the year. I actually had a piece of it running before the server move, so it’ll need some reconfiguration to get back up again.
Well I’ll have to leave my third WordPress blog post at that then. Until the next time my blog updates…
